Tip 2 - How to Set Admin Privileges

 Description
Introduction The SQC for Access™ is designed such that the data is divided into to categories:
  • Measurement Data: It contains all relevant data that the user measures and import to the program to generate SQC charts. Accessible by both User and Administer (Read/Write/Delete access)
  • Definition Data: It contains all data not defined above. User can read the data but only the Administer can Read/Write/Delete this data.

 
 Objective The objective of this section is to provide step by step instruction of how to set the account with Administer Privileges.

 
Steps to do Do the following to set the SQC for Access™ with Administer privilege.

Start SQC for Access™ program

Note: Please note that some of the buttons are not accessible.

Click the About button, and record the Name, in this case the program is register to TS.

Click the Home button.

 Click the "SQC for Access" label to enable the Setup button.

Click the Setup button.

 Click the "SQC for Access Program, ..." label to enable the admin Setup button..

 With the navigator key, set the 2nd record.

and enter the user name in the Admin field. Click Home button.
6 Click the Refresh button.The program is now in the ADMINISTER mode.
